SongScript is a web-based service that uses artificial intelligence to transform personal memories associated with songs into polished, personalized memory letters. Letters are generated digitally and delivered as downloadable PDF files.
You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when registering.
Each new account receives one free letter upon registration. Additional letters may be purchased in packs. Letter credits are non-transferable and are tied to your account.
All purchases are final. Because SongScript delivers digital content immediately upon purchase, we do not offer refunds under any circumstances. By completing a purchase, you acknowledge and accept this policy. If you experience a technical issue that prevents letter generation, please contact us at legal@songscript.co and we will work to resolve it.
You retain ownership of the memories and personal content you submit to generate letters. By submitting content, you grant SongScript a limited license to process that content solely for the purpose of generating your letter. We do not sell or share your personal memories with third parties.
Letters are generated using artificial intelligence. While we strive for high quality, SongScript does not guarantee that generated letters will meet your specific expectations. The AI may occasionally produce unexpected results. You are free to regenerate or edit your letter using the tools provided.
You may not use the Service to submit content that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, defamatory, or that violates the rights of others. SongScript reserves the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms.
SongScript is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SongScript shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Texas.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

When you use SongScript, we collect the following information:
Account information: Your name and email address when you register.
Content you provide: Song titles, artist names, and personal memories you write when generating letters.
Payment information: Payment is processed by Stripe. SongScript does not store your credit card details.
Usage data: Basic information about how you use the Service, such as letters generated and credits used.
We use your information to provide and improve the Service, generate your memory letters, process payments, send you account-related communications, and respond to your support requests. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
SongScript uses the following third-party services to operate:
Supabase — database and authentication (supabase.com)
Anthropic — AI letter generation (anthropic.com)
Stripe — payment processing (stripe.com)
Vercel — hosting and infrastructure (vercel.com)
Resend — transactional email (resend.com)
Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which employs industry-standard security measures. Your letters and memories are stored so you can access them from your dashboard. We take reasonable measures to protect your information but cannot guarantee absolute security.
You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at legal@songscript.co. Upon request, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
SongScript uses local storage in your browser to remember your language preference and session. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies.
SongScript is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy on this page with an updated date.
